Mrs. Aditi Chinmay Deshpande M. Optom Asst. Professor Bharati Vidyapeeth School of Optometry, Pune, has earned the prestigious Fellowship of American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) in October 2015 at New Orleans, USA. She submitted her work in subject-‘Low vision in pediatric population’ to academy. Aditi has become First female Faculty from Bharati Vidyapeeth School of Optometry to complete this fellowship. In order to qualify for Academy fellowship, all candidates are evaluated against the highest standards of professional competence. The letters "FAAO" after a name carry significant prestige and signify to colleagues and other professionals that the Fellow meets or exceeds the rigorous qualifications for fellowship.
