Faculty Exchange Programme between Malardalen University, Sweden and Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University

A Faculty Exchange Programme for Social Work and Nursing disciplines within the Linnaeus -Palme International Scholarship Scheme, Sweden, between School of Health, Care and Social Welfare,Malardalen University and Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University has been sanctioned by the Swedish authorities for the year 2015-2016. The grants are funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA). At the onset, two faculty members; from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Dr. Usha Varghese, Associate Professor, Social Sciences Centre and Dr Sneha Pitre, Director, Nursing College will be visiting Malardalen University for a duration of three weeks in the month of October, 2015. Subsequently two Faculty members from Malardalen University will be visiting Bharati Vidyapeeth in the month of February 2016 for a period of three weeks under the same programme. The current program is a fruit of the initiative by Dr. Asmita Wele, Director, International Students’ Center, BVDU. It has always been vision of Professor Dr. Shivajirao Kadam, Vice Chancellor Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University to promote international understanding among global universities through professional development and cross-cultural exchange.
