Objective:

The Computer Applications Department provides varied software program instruction for small businesses, home offices, and hobbyists. Curriculum is geared for students who want to learn software for basic skills and/or upgrading of skills. Students who successfully complete computer applications courses will be able to:
- Develop and prepare documents, projects, presentations, and web design
- Demonstrate skills in current software programs
- Implement tasks appropriate for a variety of informal and formal work environments
- Create and design basic publications, illustrations and digital imagery
Our goal is to help students compete in today's world of technology and achieve success in computer-related occupations in whatever field they choose to pursue. |

Eligibility:

A candidate who has passed Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree from any recognised University with minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC / ST candidate)
OR
The candidate in their final admission degree (Bachelor or Master) are also eligible to apply provided they complete their graduation requirement including practical Examination, Viva / assignments on or before a day of admission. Such candidate will have to produce certificate to that effect at the time of admission. Under no circumstances will an extension of the deadline will be made. The admission of students will however, remain provisional until they produce mark sheets proving that they satisfy eligibility criteria. The deadline for submitting Mark sheet and passing Certificate is August 25, 2003 failing which the admission would automatically cancelled.
