National Service Scheme Unit of the college is awarded with ‘Best N.S.S. Unit’, N.S.S. officer Prof. K.V. Mohite is honored with ‘Best N.S.S. Officer’ and Mr. Abhijeet Kadam an N.S.S. Volunteer received ‘Best Volunteer Award’ From Govt. of Maharashtra. Jagtap, Shri. N.V. Gaikawad, Shri. G.V. Watharkar received ‘Seva Gourav Puraskar’ from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune. Prof. B.B. Ballal, lecturer in Microbiology received 03 ‘Best research Paper Awards’ in 40th A.M.I. Conference, Bhubaneswar Jan. 2000, 44th A.M.I. Conference, Dharwad Nov. 2003 and 47th A.M.I. Conference, Bhopal Dec. 2006 respectively; received patent regarding “INVENTION OF HEREBAL DRUG AGAINST HIV INFECTION/AIDS” dated 7/12/2005 (No. 1512/MUM/2005) of Government of India, Patent Office Branch, Mumbai. His invention regarding plasma homocysteine and its role in dementia of AIDS patients has been deeply appreciated by “ AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR MICROBIOLOGY (ASM). The alumni of the sports department Mr. Rajesh Shelar, Mr. Sanjay Kondalkar, Miss.
