The Diploma in Environment education course specially designed for in-service is an innovative program that develops a high level of capacity incorporate environment education in any field. The Institute of Environment Education & Research (BVIEER) has established itself as a well-acclaimed centre of research on environment related issues.

This Diploma is specially designed for in service teachers. The course work is held in the summer and Diwali vacations and covers all aspects of environment that must be integrated into existing school and college syllabic.

The course enhances expertise in communicating environmental concerns to initiate awareness of environmental concerns in the community. It includes a practical orientation to using a variety of techniques to impart environment education.
