  • Objective:

    • The Research for Ph.D. degree is intended to train the students to undertake further independent research.
    • To obtain reasonable competence in a body of the knowledge in a particular area of a subject related to the theme of his / her research and
    • To make a significant contribution for extending further the horizon of knowledge in the area of his / her study or interest.

    2. Repertory
    3. Organon of Medicine
    4. Homoeopathic Pharmacy
     

    Duration:

    The Ph.D programme is minimum of 2 yrs duration and a maximum of 5 yrs from the date of successful completion of course work.
     

    Eligibility:

    • A candidate will be considered eligible for admission to Ph.D. programme in the subject or in any allied subject in which he / she has obtained a Master’s Degree or equivalent examination with at least 55% marks [50% marks for SC/ST category students] from a recognized University.
    • The candidate working in National Laboratories, Government Research Institutes, registered Non Government Organizations, having the above qualification will also be considered eligible for admission for Ph.D. programme provided he / she is deputed / sponsored by the employer. He / She will have to submit “No Objection Certificate” from the employer and will have to appear for “All India Entrance Test” conducted by the University.
    • The then existing rules of eligibility prescribed by various statutory councils will also be applicable for admission to Ph.D. programmes of this University.
    • In an exceptional circumstances, a person who is holding a senior position in a government service, or has been in any profession for atleast 10 years, or made significant contribution in different fields, such as Education, Law, Health, Trade, Commerce, Industry etc. will also be considered eligible for a direct admission to Ph.D. programme, subject to the fulfillment of other conditions of eligibility as may be prescribed by the University from time-to-time.
